Week 1 · 2025–26 season
Dolphins
L 8-33 at Colts · Sep 7, 2025
Misery Index · Despair
Dolphins fans are calling for Grier's head, Tua's bench, and the franchise's dissolution after losing to Daniel Jones.
The emotional rollercoaster
Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse.
What happened
The hole opened early: a T.Tagovailoa interception by C.Bynum on the opening drive, then a M.Pittman 27-yard touchdown, then a K.Moore strip-sack that IND recovered at the MIA 44. By the time the second quarter started, this one was effectively decided, and a 33-point loss in Week 1 has the fanbase openly drafting eulogies for Grier, the roster, and whatever identity this team thought it had.

“Relegate us. We need a clean slate top to bottom. Give Weaver the interim, tank for a top 5 pick. I'm over the gimmick, and I've been a staunch optimist for 5 years. Done.”
