What happened

K.Cousins to J.Bech on a 15-yard TD in the first quarter set the tone, and the defense turned the deep-left interception attempt into the only real momentum wobble worth noting. M.Willis kept Miami interesting with his legs, but a 14-point margin at home, first place in the AFC West alone, and a blacked-out stadium is the kind of Week 1 this fanbase has earned the right to actually enjoy. The Chargers will tell the truth soon enough.

I'm not surprised! Red Raider Jacob Rodriguez, a 2nd round draft pick of Miami, was the Dolphins leading tackler. 14 tackles with 5 solo! As a rookie, he also wore the green dot and was the Dolphins long snapper today. What an NFL debut. Miami lost to the Raiders 27-13
