Week 9 · 2025–26 season
Raiders
L 29-30 vs Jaguars · Nov 2, 2025
Misery Index · Uneasy
Raiders fans are done with moral victories, blaming G.Smith, the defense, and each other in roughly that order.
The emotional rollercoaster
Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse.
What happened
B.Bowers in overtime gets the Raiders within one, and then the season pivots on a two-point try where G.Smith's pass to T.Lockett falls incomplete. The defense surrendering four touchdown drives made the comeback necessary in the first place, and a G.Smith sack split by J.Hines-Allen and E.Ogbah in the final minute of regulation forced the math to begin with. Losing a one-score game this way doesn't answer a single question about this roster.
