Week 14 · 2025–26 season
Raiders
L 17-24 vs Broncos · Dec 7, 2025
Misery Index · Miserable
Raiders fans openly rooting for the tank, roasting Carroll's field goal, and calling this the worst team in franchise.
The emotional rollercoaster
Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse.
What happened
M.Mims taking a punt 48 yards to the house in the second quarter flipped a one-score game and the Raiders never quite got the air back, despite B.Bowers hauling in an early G.Smith score. Settling for a field goal down seven late will get filed alongside every other decision that defined this stretch. The grim consolation: a 17-24 loss to a contender keeps the draft math friendly, which is apparently where the optimism lives now.
