What happened

Overtime found the Rams playing not to lose: after M.Stafford hit P.Nacua for 21 to swing field position, the offense stalled into a 48-yard H.Mevis attempt that G.Rousseau swatted into oblivion. J.Allen then jogged 19 yards up the middle to set up T.Bass's walk-off 45-yarder. The K.Williams and D.Adams fourth-quarter touchdowns that forced OT now feel like props in a cautionary tale about trusting the kicker over the quarterback.
