What happened
J.Verse's 76-yard scoop-and-score off a blocked field goal felt like the kind of break that wins games, and P.Nacua's touchdown with 2:52 left should have sealed it. Instead, K.Cousins marched Atlanta into Z.Gonzalez's range for a 51-yard dagger as time expired. The officiating will dominate the postmortem, but a defense that couldn't get off the field in the final two minutes is the harder problem to solve.
