The K.Vidal 42-yard touchdown run to open the third briefly resurrected a corpse, which fans openly resent having believed in. Then Z.Allen's strip-sack of J.Herbert at the LAC 24 handed Denver the game, and a second Herbert sack with three seconds left sealed it. Two scores, two possessions lost in the pocket, and a fanbase already drafting the coach's eulogy by halftime. The lingering worry: whether anything about this operation is actually fixable.
