What happened
The P.Mahomes-to-T.Kelce 37-yard strike gave Kansas City a pulse in the fourth, but the failed two-point try to N.Gray moments later quietly sealed everything that followed. The defense spent the night getting carved up by J.Herbert, with Q.Johnston alone responsible for two backbreaking chunk plays, and J.Hicks' face mask gift-wrapped another touchdown. Mahomes magic papered over a depleted receiver room and a porous front for one half — the question is how many more weeks it can.
