What happened
D.Jones to M.Pittman for 27 yards put it away early, and the C.Bynum interception plus the K.Moore strip-sack made Tagovailoa look completely overwhelmed before halftime. A Week 1 win this clean — every phase humming, the defense generating takeaways — is something this fanbase hasn't been allowed to enjoy in a while. The relief is doing a lot of the heavy lifting here, but 33-8 is 33-8, and the curse is officially on the shelf.
