What happened
Three points. That's the margin, and it's the kind of margin where every red zone trip replays itself in a fan's head at 2 a.m. C.Stroud's 47-yard strike to D.Schultz down to the DEN 12 should have been the dagger; instead it became Exhibit A in the offense's stalled-at-the-doorstep portfolio. Then B.Nix carved up the defense on the final drive — a 13-yard dart to P.Bryant, a 25-yard scramble — to set up W.Lutz with three seconds left. The play-calling discourse won't quiet down anytime soon.
