What happened
Houston survived a game that twice tried to slip away — R.Davis's 97-yard kickoff return and K.Shakir's 44-yard catch-and-lateral with under a minute left both put the win in real jeopardy before C.Bullock picked off J.Allen at the 9 to end it. W.Anderson was a problem all night, and the defense bailed out an offense that managed one D.Mills touchdown throw to J.Higgins. A win, yes, but the special teams lapse and the late-game tightrope linger.
