R.Fitzgerald's 49-yarder as time expired is the dagger on the card, but the loss was authored long before that — a S.Williams fumble at the CAR 16, a J.Love interception intended for C.Watson, and a 4th-and-8 decision that turned three available points into nothing. Carolina was the kind of opponent this team keeps losing to in the exact same way, and the division is starting to feel like a real question.
