What happened
J.Gibbs ripping off a 78-yard touchdown up the middle in the second quarter cracked the game open, and a depleted defense did the rest, holding B.Mayfield's offense to nine despite a short Q3 strike to T.Johnson. Fans hit the bye giddy at 5-2 and openly marveling at backups smothering a top offense, though the J.Goff fumble on a Y.Diaby strip-sack is the kind of giveaway that won't always be bailed out.
