What happened

Denver sits atop the West, and it took M.Roach dropping P.Mahomes at the DEN 12 with four seconds left to keep it that way. H.Butker's 54-yarder sailing wide right and B.Nix's 51-yard strike to J.Coleman should have put it away, yet T.Kelce's 32-yard catch dragged Kansas City right back to the doorstep. The stadium lost its voice and the comments are harvesting salt, but a defense that already gave up a 73-yard touchdown to E.Johnson keeps leaving the door cracked open.

CONGRATULATIONS TO #NFL REF CLETE BLAKEMAN AND THE DENVER #BRONCOS ON THEIR WIN TODAY AGAINST THE KANSAS CITY #CHIEFS. One of the most horrifically officiated endings we have seen all season. A controversial false start penalty wiped out a potential game-winning touchdown.
