The emotional rollercoaster
Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse.
What happened
A W.Lutz 34-yarder with three seconds left caps a drive saved by B.Nix's 25-yard scramble and a 13-yard dart to P.Bryant, and 7-2 is 7-2. Still, the offense managed 18 against a defense it was supposed to test, and M.Bandy's muffed punt nearly handed the game away in the second quarter. The R.Harvey touchdown and the clutch gene are real; the queasy feeling watching it happen is also real.
