W.Lutz doinks a 42-yarder off the right upright with 3:19 left, then a leverage flag wipes out what should have been the final stop, and S.Shrader walks on for the 45-yard dagger as time expires. J.Taylor's 68-yard gash earlier already telegraphed how thin the margin was, and B.Nix's interception to C.Bynum didn't help. A missed kick, a phantom-feeling penalty, a loss by one — the kind of Sunday that makes fans question why they keep showing up.
