The emotional rollercoaster
Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse.
What happened
J.McMillian's 45-yard pick-six off T.Lance set the tone before the offense ever had to prove anything, and N.Bonitto's strip-sack in the fourth made sure the Chargers never got close to threatening. B.Nix did enough — the deep ball to E.Engram down to the 8 was the lone real flourish — but the defense carried this one start to finish. The one seed is locked, which is a strange feeling for a fanbase still bracing for the other shoe.
