What happened
W.Lutz's 35-yarder at the gun finally put Kansas City away, but only after B.Nix had to drag Denver back into it with deep shots to T.Franklin and C.Sutton in the final two minutes. The T.Kelce touchdown with ten minutes left felt like the usual script writing itself, and a 54-yard Lutz boot kept things breathing. Beating Mahomes by three is still beating Mahomes — the nervous system just needs a minute.
