What happened
D.Prescott's 42-yard strike to R.Flournoy in the fourth briefly resurrected a corpse, but the defense had already let D.Montgomery walk 35 yards up the middle and turned a J.Houston roughing call into a free Detroit drive. The D.Barnes interception killed the one stretch where this looked competitive. Thirty-one years of pattern recognition is hard to argue with, and "special teams and defense were complete ass" isn't a hot take — it's the scouting report.
