What happened
A.Szmyt's 49-yarder with three seconds left is the kind of ending this season earned: a J.Burrow pick-six to D.Bush from the CLE 3, a N.Fant fumble that handed CLE the field, and a late drive that got to the CLE 4 only to set up the other guy's kicker. Eighteen weeks of this, and the people signing the checks are the same people signing them next year.
