The emotional rollercoaster
Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse.
What happened
C.Gardner-Johnson's first-quarter pick gave the Bears every chance, and they spent four quarters handing it back — culminating in J.Jacobs walking in from two yards out after a 21-yard scamper where the defense apparently agreed not to touch him. C.Williams' deep-left heave to C.Kmet getting picked at the goal line with 27 seconds left was the bow on top. Twenty-nine years of getting big-brother'd, and the tackling somehow keeps getting worse.
