Panthers fans are less mad about losing to Cleveland than about watching the broadcast anoint Watson a comeback hero.

The emotional rollercoaster

What happened

Down three with under two minutes left, Carolina watched D.Watson scramble 21 yards and then hit H.Fannin for the go-ahead score, Ja.Horn going down on the play like a cruel bow on top. B.Young's answer was an interception intended for D.Waller with sixteen seconds left. The turning point was a defense that couldn't get off the field when it mattered, and the lingering worry is a roster losing bodies faster than it's losing games.
