What happened
A 30-0 shutout of the Falcons, punctuated by C.Smith-Wade jumping a M.Penix throw and taking it 11 yards for six, is the kind of afternoon Carolina fans had stopped expecting to exist. B.Young hitting T.McMillan for 23 on a deep shot, J.Romo actually connecting later after two early misses — every phase showed up. The lingering concern: one clean week against a sputtering Atlanta offense doesn't prove the floor has moved.
