What happened
B.Young's 22-yard strike to T.McMillan set the tone early, and R.Fitzgerald's 48-yarder with 2:24 left provided the cushion, but this game came down to L.Ransom jumping a Mayfield throw intended for M.Evans with under a minute to play. First place in December is a sentence Carolina fans have not been allowed to write in a long time. The rookie class is delivering; the trick now is not flinching.
