What happened
Carolina needed overtime and a 54-yard B.Young dart to T.Tremble to put away a division rival, which says as much about the comfort level as the win itself. The fourth quarter was a referendum on nerves: B.Young hit R.Dowdle for 38 and T.McMillan for the tying score, only to watch Z.Gonzalez force the extra period from 45. A win worth enjoying, even if it required every snap to extract.
