What happened
M.Trubisky running the offense in Week 18 should feel weirder than it does, but the 35-8 dismantling of the Jets cooperated early — the deep ball to D.Knox for a touchdown and the R.Davis chunk plays put this away before halftime. The Ralph sendoff doubles as a tune-up, which is the trick now: backups looked sharp against a team that quit, and the playoff version of this offense remains entirely theoretical.
