What happened

R.Smith's opening-drive pick of D.Jones set the tone, and L.Jackson spent the rest of the afternoon making Indianapolis pay — the 49-yard strike to Z.Flowers, then the 54-yard middle-of-the-field touchdown to the same guy in the second quarter. Sloppy stretches kept it from being a coronation, but a 41-23 finish with a 10-point fourth quarter is the kind of Week 1 this fanbase forgot was allowed. The real test comes when the opponent has a pulse.
