What happened
A 19-17 win over the Saints came down to D.Alford jumping a T.Shough throw with 3:24 left, returning it 59 yards to set up the finish — though the margin existed at all only because T.Shough scrambled 29 yards moments earlier to make it interesting. A blocked punt, a forced fumble, and a rookie pass rusher hitting double-digit sacks should feel like more than this. Beating a division bottom-feeder by two doesn't answer anything about 2026.
