What happened
A 24-10 win over New Orleans should feel cleaner than this, but K.Cousins throwing a pick-six to J.Reid on a ball intended for K.Pitts is the kind of sequence that lingers regardless of the final score. The Saints bailed Atlanta out repeatedly — two missed B.Grupe field goals, a T.Hill fumble recovered by his own team — and the Falcons still needed all of it. Beating a bad team is beating a bad team; the Pitts-Cousins connection remains the open question.
