D.Taylor-Demerson's fourth-quarter interception handed the offense a short field and a chance to bury this thing, and instead the drive stalled into another field goal. Then the defense held San Francisco to 16, only to watch E.Pineiro's 35-yarder with four seconds left walk it off the wrong way. Sixteen points should be enough to beat anyone; the receivers dropping the game-sealing first down is the kind of detail that festers all week.
