What happened
The Sharks went 1-2 as misery climbed from 31 to 75. A 0-2 loss to Buffalo drew fury over Macklin's 25 minutes of ice time, "inexcusable twelve games into the season." The turning point was the 3-2 win over Vancouver, because it fixed nothing; one fan vowed that if Warso "ever tries this experiment again, it will be on sight." A 1-5 loss to Ottawa confirmed "atrocious hockey, winning or losing." Some now miss "the charmingly shitty hockey of last year," which says plenty about this one.
