What happened
Two 6-1 wins over Calgary bookended the week, one in Alberta, one at home, which one fan noted with appropriate disbelief: "flames in Calgary: 6-1 for Kraken flames in Seattle, believe it or not: 6-1 for Kraken." The opener had the fanbase promising to flip the Flames with a Zamboni until their mascot coughed up maple syrup. The turn came in Edmonton, a 1-3 loss where a soft second goal drew the only real venom, and even then "not on Gru for that one." Gru deserved better. Everyone else deserved this.
