What happened
The week opened warm — a 4-1 win in New Jersey, someone declaring they loved the goalie, loved Greener, loved everything. Then St. Louis came in and left with a 7-2 win, and the mood never recovered. A 2-1 squeak past the Islanders only sharpened the worry, with "the lack of offence is extremly worrisome though" drawing the week's loudest nods. The 3-1 loss in Philadelphia confirmed it. Two wins, two losses, misery up from 48 to 65. Winning here apparently requires scoring.
