The week, game by game

Each game's fan misery, from first comment to the next game. ● marks a blowup.

• Thu, Oct 22L 0-6@ BOS99 ●
• Sat, Oct 24L 2-3@ PIT85
• Sun, Oct 25W 6-2vs COL23

The emotional rollercoaster

Fan misery across the week, every six hours. Up is worse. Dashed lines are games.

What happened

Boston happened first, 6-0, and the fanbase skipped straight to demolition talk: "blow this miserable excuse of a team into atoms." Pittsburgh was quieter cruelty, a 3-2 overtime loss where "there was no threat of anything," and the asks turned managerial — "if you are Chris MacFarland, how the hell do you evaluate this team right now?" Then Colorado arrived and left beaten 6-2, the turn nobody had scheduled. One good night doesn't answer the question. It just delays it.
