What happened
Three road games, one win, and a fanbase already sharpening knives. Toronto took it 5-4, and the postmortem skipped the forwards entirely: "I don't give a fuck what the price is, get Skjei off this team." Montreal fell 5-2, briefly quieting the goalie discourse, with one fan wishing spoiled milk on anyone claiming "saros is the problem." Then Ottawa, 3-2, the turning point, a lead handed back and Brady "factored into both goals like a dumbass." A 1-2 week that felt like confirmation, not variance.
