What happened
The Devils opened the road swing by thumping Dallas 5-1, a win one fan scored as "five Tate McRae songs, five New Jersey Devils goals" while celebrating a four-game streak. Colorado ended that streak 5-2, and the power play took the blame in both directions: no goals for, goals against. The turning point came two nights later in Vegas, a 5-2 answer that fans agreed made the Knights "look stupid." A 2-1 week, misery barely registering, and the only open question is who's buying the beers.
