What happened
The 1-0 win in Carolina had the board giddy, one fan hauling in "a truckload of crow for us all" and another apologizing to Markstrom for not recognizing his game. Then came San Jose, the home opener somebody wanted badly to spoil, lost 4-3, and the mood snapped: "I can't take another season without Sasha." Anaheim finished it 3-2, with the power play drawing the blame. A 1-2 week, and the fanbase has already cycled through a full season of emotions in six days.
