What happened
Two games, two routs, and a fanbase that abandoned restraint by the first intermission. The 8-4 win over Los Angeles was the turning point of the week and the season's emotional thesis: one fan swore they'd "be chill about the avs" and the Avs answered with an eight-goal housewarming. Mack dropped the mitts and tossed the helmet. Then 6-1 over St. Louis, with Dallas losing the same night, and someone declared "all is right in the world." Nobody is chill. Nobody was going to be.
