What happened
Two games, two losses, and a fanbase that stopped arguing about hockey and started arguing about employment. The 1-4 to Montreal set the tone, with the crease decision drawing the week's sharpest shrug: "KK must of killed Blash's dog to have EDM start over him." Then 2-3 to Florida, the turning point, close enough to hurt and familiar enough to confirm everything. "This should be Blashill's last game," one fan decided. "Fire Bashill and the PP coaches." Misery jumped from 31 to 96. Nobody mentioned the standings.
