What happened
Three games, three goals, three losses. Seattle opened it 6-1 and someone already had Calgary pegged for "dead last this year." Vancouver's 4-1 turned on a too many men call that never came, with six Canucks on the ice "long enough for the refs to notice and not care." Then Seattle did 6-1 again, and the complaint shifted from officiating to the crease: "Wolf being bad and letting in bad goals is much more terrifying than anything else." Blaming refs was the optimistic phase.
