What happened

Four games, two wins, and almost none of the anger pointed at the scoreboard. The 5-3 win over Florida came with complaints about "ticky tacky calls," the 5-4 win in Toronto with a running tally of "phantom penalty" grievances. Montreal took both meetings 4-3, and the second one was the hinge: an 0-for-5 power play that had one fan admitting it "made me yell at my kids and kick my trash basket." Misery barely moved, because the refs make a better villain than the man advantage.
