What happened
A 3-0 shutout of the Rangers opened the week and the room was giddy — "that was fricking AMAZING," one fan wrote, while another called the whole thing "pure Boston sports porn" after a week of watching the Pats and Sox. The 4-3 escape in Winnipeg was the turn, equal parts thrilling and alarming, celebrated with "definitely JJ'ing my Peterka tonight." Minnesota's 4-1 answer cooled it, with Lohrei singled out. Even a first-time viewer admitted it was fun. 2-1, and nobody's apologizing.
