Opening night went down easy: 124-83 over Phoenix, a scoreline so comfortable the loudest take in Rip City was a plea that Micah Nori "do NOT get arrested tomorrow morning." Sacramento asked for more. The turning point was halftime, after which Portland "came out playing better" and escaped 128-120, the "first clutch win of the season," with one holdout still fuming about the officiating. Elsewhere, "DAME TIME IS BACK BABY" and gratitude to the Suns for Toumani. At 2-0, the complaints are already warming up.
