The opener in Portland went 124-83 the wrong way, and the fanbase went straight past disappointment into demolition talk: "BLOW UP THE TEAM...TRADE EVERYONE...TRY TO GET OUR PICKS BACK." One called it "a complete embarrassment. Its warranted." Friday's 131-122 win over Golden State evened things at 1-1 and functioned as the week's turning point, or at least its tourniquet. Even in victory, the thread drifted back to Bridges, "a disaster no matter the way you look at it." Winning fixes the record, not the grievance.
