What happened
The Knicks finally won a game, beating Detroit 111-97, and the fanbase reacted like a siege had lifted: "GO AHEAD AND CRY." The next night brought a 133-127 win in Chicago and a fresh folk hero, with one fan shouting "18 PTS OFF THE BENCH FOR JORDY MCCLARKSON." Then came Philadelphia, the week's turning point. A 93-98 loss dropped New York to 2-4 and revived the standing complaint: "Maybe not fall behind double digits every fucking game." A winning week, technically, that still ended in a hole.
