What happened

Opening night in Oklahoma City ended 96-84, and the fanbase fixated less on the shooting than on the floor, where "Wallace grabbed Jokics leg and pulled it up to trip himself" became the week's turning point and the week's grievance, with Scott Foster collecting the overflow. Two nights later Denver won the home opener 141-135 over New Orleans and the mood barely moved: "fire adelman asap or blow this shit up." A 1-1 start, and the coach already has a countdown clock.
