What happened
Two blowouts in Minnesota, 8-3 and 8-1, had the fanbase handing out log cabin invitations to Bellinger and MVP votes to their own. Then Ramos grounded into a double play in a 4-5 loss, and the mood never recovered. The 9-2 win in Arizona came with eulogies for Judge's season attached, followed by 3-5 and 4-8 to close the trip. Volpe caught strays, ownership caught worse. At 89-66, they are winning and no one is enjoying it.
