What happened

Two World Series games, two one-run wins, and a fanbase that still can't relax. The 3-2 opener ended with what someone called "a nice, easy 9th Inning," a phrase doing considerable heavy lifting. The turning point came the next night: a home run from a bat that "hadn't hit a HR since the civil war," turning Game 2 into a 5-4 win and a 2-0 series lead. Misery ticked up anyway. Being two wins from everything is its own kind of unbearable.
