What happened
Two games, two runs, season over. Tuesday's 1-3 loss was the hinge: a lineup that had looked merely cold turned fully inert, and the Dodgers took a 2-1 series lead they never gave back. Wednesday's 1-4 finished it, 3-1, and left Atlanta at 1-3 with the offseason arriving early. Fans called it "the most infuriating viewing experience" of their lives, demanded the Braves "FIRE Tim Hyers ASAP," and watched their best players, as one put it, "piss down their legs in the postseason."
