What happened
Four straight wins opened the week in Colorado, 7-2, 5-3, 12-8, then a 11-4 dismantling in San Diego that had someone joking the club was "86-0 when we outscore our opponent." Then the turn: a 7-10 loss to the Padres, followed by 4-9, Torey leaning on Cabrera rather than Loaisiga while the season leaked out. Fans who spent Wednesday hating the Dodgers spent Sunday quietly rooting for them. 86-76, and the mood has curdled from Gabi's batting average to "the misery literally never ends.
